Temperate Deforestation
(Temperate Deforestation removal of woodlands for housing, malls, businesses built without forethought of preserving the environment to sustain the people and businesses moving in. (Ex.: Five-acre snob-housing as opposed to an 8-story apartment building preserving fields, woodlands and water sources like streams or lakes). Temperate deforestation is also caused by people not appreciating the value of trees. And, the devastating fires of global warming and aluminum nano-particles from chemical trails also contribute to deforestation. The temperate region is the area where temperate deforestation occurs. Your forests save your air & water. (Above Photo by Vlad Chețan from Pexels)
.Why save trees? Trees provide housing for humans. Trees provide food. Trees provide habitat for animals, fungi, and bacteria. Trees help conserve water. Trees help clean air. Photo below by Pok Rie from Pexels.
Deciduous trees lose their leaves in fall. Thus, they allow the sun to warm our homes. Yet, in summer, they are lush green and they help keep us cool. Trees also help protect us from adverse effects of cell tower or satellite radiation. Trees can also save islands from devastation of storms (compare and contrast the effect of storms on the tropical deforestation in the Dominican Republic and Haiti, for example.)
